What's the best way to start the morning? Animation of course!

This took me a couple of hours in Adobe Flash. It was animated at 18 fps, but I may have slowed it down to 16 fps? I can't remember...I was messing with it though...

I'm aspiring to make an animated short of The Plight of Piston: A story of a pit bull born into the world of street dog fighting.

These would be a couple of Piston's siblings. No, they are not drawn on model because well, I don't have a model for them yet!

I wanted to see how a couple of these guys would look moving a bit before getting an official model set up. Pretty cute to me! But dang they are moving all around!

But I think its a move in the right direction! :)

Next step, getting an expression and model sheet for the puppies!

This is seriously amazing work, it looks so smooth and the perspective is spot on!! I did a (crappy) animation of Socks licking the screen years ago and this is sorta inspiring me to try it again :D I'd LOVE to see an animated short of Piston's story, can't wait to see what comes of this! :la:

Ahhh this is great :D I think if you're planning to make a whole film, then you should animate at 24 frames a second and do it on two's or threes so you can do less frames :) It's just, US tv's run at 24 frames a second and you don't want it whizzing around by accident heh.

Thank you!

I definitely need to learn and practice more animation before I go trying to make a short film, but every suggestion is pushing me in the right direction! Thanks for the advice.
